The Denver Woman’s Press Club won the prestigious Fred A. Rosenstock Prize for Outstanding Contributions to Colorado History from the Denver Posse of the Westerners. On December 17 at its Winter Rendezvous, DWPC President Gail Beaton accepted the plaque and a check for $2,000 from the Posse. The Westerners are folks with a shared interest in the history of the American West. The Fred A. Rosenstock Prize was established as a memorial to a Denver Westerners charter member. DWPC was nominated for the award by Honorary Member Dr. Thomas J. Noel.
