New professional member Elizabeth (Beth) Duncan applied to DWPC because of her interest in Colorado history which led her to research and publish four biographies. Her children’s book, Antonia and Her Magic Wand: The Extraordinary Life of Antonia Brico, Symphony Conductor, will be published by Random House in 2026.

She is retired from teaching elementary students in the Denver Public School system, having taught in the gifted and talented program.
