Our little clubhouse now has two Little Free Libraries, and one is very special. In 2022, then Archives Chair Gail Beaton was so enthused by the idea of a Little Free Library (LFL) that she enlisted her brother and sister-in-law, who outdid themselves to create a charming custom replica of the clubhouse. We celebrated with a ribbon-cutting. Unfortunately, its appeal made it a target for vandalism, and it was removed, then replaced by a smaller LFL made from a standard kit. This new LFL sits out front and is regularly stocked with books for the local community.

Meanwhile, Gail repaired our custom LFL. Mindy Sink and her husband installed the miniature clubhouse in the backyard of our full-sized clubhouse–for the exclusive enjoyment of members and their guests. Members are welcome to take a book or leave a book. We are so looking forward to showing it off during warm-weather events!
