Women Writing the West has awarded the 2026 WILLA Literary Award in Mystery/Thriller to DWPC member Skye Griffith for Bone Hash.  Skye will receive the award at the organization’s annual convention. Women Writing the West promotes writing about the West with emphasis on the experiences of western women and girls. The WILLA Award was named in honor of Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Willa Cather and recognizes the best in literature featuring women’s or girls’ stories set in the North American West.
