Barb Warner has a bachelors degree in education from Michigan State University, masters degree from Antioch University and a Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Denver. She has served in the Peace Corps in Turkey.

Her most recent position in the corporate world was as director of volunteers services with Total Long term Care in Denver.

After realizing her enjoyment of writing, Barb wrote monthly articles for Prime Time for Seniors for several years and was a contributor to Speaking Your Truth: Courageous Stories from Inspiring Women- Volume II.

She recently created Powerful Tools for the Second Half of Life and has enjoyed speaking with people who want to see their life and aging as a gift and an opportunity. Barb has spent the last several years writing and self publishing her first book: Save Your Fork – Dessert is on the Way: Savoring the Second Half of Life.
