Join Suzanne Young and get the inside story behind the largest selling category in fiction today — mystery! Whether it’s a who-dunnit or just a spellbinding tale loaded with conflict and suspense, you’ll be glad to learn more about the importance of choosing the right victim, layering the suspense, and the “rule of 20” to create the unexpected, as well as the huge importance of pacing in stories of conflict and tension. Arm yourself to the teeth to become the mystery writer you always wanted to be. Longtime club member Suzanne Young is the best-selling author of the Edna Davies mystery series which put her on Amazon’s list of “top 100 authors of mystery” for five consecutive months.
Assisting Suzanne will be your salon hostess Corinne Brown who inadvertently wrote a murder mystery as her very first novel. It took her by surprise and drew her to a genre she wasn’t too familiar with, but adores now.
Prepare to join in a rousing discussion. Bring thoughts, questions, or simply listen and learn.
