Special Event: Researching and Writing Historical Fiction – RSVP by Nov. 17, 2024

Join New York Times bestselling author Cynthia Swanson on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. to learn about researching and writing historical fiction set in Denver.

Cynthia will talk about the process she used for her psychological suspense novels The Bookseller (set in Denver in the 1960s) and her newly-released title, Anyone But Her (set in Denver in 1979 and 2004, with historical elements reaching back in time), as well as her short story in the Colorado Book Award-winning anthology Denver Noir. Cynthia is the editor of Denver Noir and contributed a Denver story set in 1893, as well as providing editorial insight for other authors who contributed historical Denver stories to the collection.
