Open Mic and Happy Hour at the Clubhouse | April 2026

Please join us for Open Mic Happy Hour from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April  17, 2026.

DWPC’s Open Mic provides a safe place for writers of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry—both women and men—to share their work. Participants and readers, all of whom should be 18 years old or older, are expected to be mutually respectful.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Buffy Gilfoil will take names of those who wish to read. Up to 12 writers may read each evening. Starting at 5:15, each reader gets five minutes. Time yourself beforehand! Lights out and doors locked at 7 p.m. sharp.

No RSVPs accepted. Just show up. While this is a free event with light refreshments, donations are gladly accepted.
