Mougin_CookChefAuthor, athlete and humanitarian Michael Ditchfield will share his experiences writing Life’s Too Short for Leftovers: Nine Lessons from a Third World Kitchen at the Nov. 7 brunch.

Ditchfield has spent extensive time involved in humanitarian pursuits in underdeveloped African countries. In Life’s Too Short, he presents a journey of self-discovery as courses on a menu. His guide and mentor along the way is the late restaurateur and humanitarian Noel Cunningham, who owned Strings restaurant in Denver.

Members and their invited guests are welcome at the brunch, which will begin at 10 a.m. The cost is $13 per person plus $4 per glass of wine, and reservations are required by Nov. 3 Reservations may be made through faithnick@msn.com or by creating a booking and following the PayPal prompts.
