
Annual Jewelry Sale
Find jewelry for the holidays, creative costume pieces and valuable vintage finds at the Denver Woman’s Press Club Annual Jewelry Sale to fund scholarships for writers and communicators.
In addition to vintage finds, award-winning bead maker Bernadette Fuentes will present her exquisite lampworked glass beads and pendants, which she crafts from glass heated over a gas flame and Corinne Joy Brown will present bead craft inspired by Tibetan handwork reimagined for modern taste at the DWPC Annual Jewelry Sale Saturday, November 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the historic clubhouse, 1325 Logan St., Denver, 80203.
Founded in 1898, Denver Womans Press Club supports professional communicators in journalism, public relations, internet communications, nonfiction, and creative writing. The club awards scholarships to support and encourage young communicators. The Jewelry Sale will be held in the lovingly-preserved clubhouse at 1325 Logan St., purchased by the club from renowned Colorado artist George Elbert Burr in 1924 and now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Free parking is available in the lot north of the clubhouse.
