NEWS LITERACY FOR COLORADO TEACHERS

Colorado Press Women is partnering with the Colorado Student Media Association, Colorado Language Arts Society, and the College of Media, Communication and Information, CU Boulder for a full-day workshop on bringing news literacy to Colorado teachers and their students. DWPC and CPW member Donna Bryson will be one of the panelists.
Keynote speaker at the event Damaso Reyes, a widely published multi-media journalist from the National News Literacy Project: https://newslit.org/about/. Denver Post Editor Lee Ann Colacioppo is the luncheon speaker. There will be panels led by CMCI instructors, professional journalists, and K-12 educators. The final line-up will be shared in mid-January.
Cost is $25 per person, which includes parking in the Euclid Garage and lunch (options are included in your online registration). Registration is online, CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
