Jeffrey Neuman is an award-winning playwright whose work has been performed at theaters and festivals across the United States, Australia, and the U.K. His plays have been produced and/or developed by, among many others, the Denver Center Theatre Company. As a director and dramaturg, Jeffrey has worked for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, the University of Colorado at Boulder, and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. He has presented professional papers for the Association for Theater in Higher Education and the American Alliance of Theatre Education. Jeffrey is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
In 2012, Jeffrey co-founded Rough Draught Playwrights (RDP), a Denver-based company that connects Colorado playwrights. RDP hosts quarterly events called “Open Mic Theatrical Playgrounds,” at which playwrights at any level of development can present works-in-progress in front of a relaxed and friendly audience. Jeffrey facilitates literary events for the Denver Post’s esteemed Pen & Podium series.
