Writing has been the foundation of Bonnie McCune’s “real” jobs. She built upon this skill to encompass general marketing and public relations staff positions for nonprofit and government agencies. She’s applied her abilities to corporate and institutional communications, publications, public opinion campaigns, development of private-public partnerships, fund-raising, events, and training while also pursuing freelance writing and consulting. Her work has appeared in numerous local, regional and trade publications such as the Christian Science Monitor, Sasee, the Denver Post, Denver Magazine, American Library, and others.. She’s co-author of Recruiting and Managing Volunteers in Libraries (Neal-Schuman Publishers, 1995). Her passion is fiction writing, and she has published several short stories as well as receiving awards in competitions.
